Being the eldest, it makes me think that I had a big responsibility to my family.
My family is not that rich but not that poor. We had enough resources that we needed for everyday life.
My father only finished high school, since then he start working any kind of work like a being a helper, caretaker, and a sewer in a company.
Just like my father, high school is the highest attainment of my mother. Though she took caregiver when she was 40y/o but she can't find a work because of her health problem. After my mother graduated high school she work also on a company where she sew, she also helped my lola in selling "Goto" and other "kakanin" like "biko" and "puto".
Since then they've been working, almost half of their life.
and I could feel that they are getting old and are really tired. :(
I only had one brother and he's on the 6th grade, he transferred from private to public school just to support my financial needs on college. and I think it's the reason why we always fight.
Just to make clear, my aunt is the one supporting my study since I was on grade four, and I'm not the only one, there were also my three cousins that she support financially on education. We were so lucky to have her.
Being the eldest it is a great pressure to me.
because I'm not only depending on what I want and need, I'm also depending on the people around me.
I wanted to help my father financially, Help my mother for her health needs, my brother for his educational support, my auntie for her to enjoy her life.
That's why my BIGGEST dream is to be RiCH. ^^
Being the Eldest became a PRESSURE to me because, EVERYONE iS COUNTiNG on me. and if i FAIL. Everyone will be so DISAPPOINTED. and that, is not good to hear.
